Hit The Trail
Expiration: Jul 2nd 2026
Explore more of Prince George, one trail at a time!
With over 100 km of trails winding through forests, parks, and green spaces, there’s always a new path to discover. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed nature walk or a more challenging route, the Passport Trail makes it easy to get outside and explore at your own pace.
And the best part? As you check in along the way, you’ll unlock milestone rewards*:
· Be one of the first 50 people to check in at 5 trails and earn a locally made, sustainable prize.
· Or be one of the first 13 to complete 15 trails, and a shrub** will be planted in your honour by DDGBS in the Expansion Garden.
Every step is a chance to connect with nature and uncover a part of Prince George you may not have seen before!
Once you get enough points, don’t forget to claim your prize!
How it Works:
Visit the Passport Trail page on the Tourism Prince George website.
Sign up for the Hit the Trail Passport.
Open the Passport Trail on your phone and add it to your home screen for easy access.
Head out and explore participating trail locations.
Use your mobile device to check in at each spot. (If you’re having trouble checking in, send the app support team a photo from the location and the visit date. Note: visits before pass activation don’t count.)
Each check-in earns points, redeem them for prizes once you collect enough!
Happy hiking!
*The Trail Passport is available until December 1, and prizes are available while quantities last. Participants may claim only one prize per points tier. Each person is eligible for a maximum of one of each prize.
**The specific specimen will be chosen by the David Douglas Garden Society based on what best supports the garden’s composition and long-term growth. Planting will take place in the spring/summer of 2026, and we’ll share photos on our social media channels to celebrate. Please note that no individual name plaques will be made.
